  • Description
Stolen January 18, 2003 from TT race at Flickerwood Arena, Jackson, Missouri between 7:50 and 9:20 pm. Bike was taken off a flat bed trailer. The bike was a stock bore mint 1986 250R. The only modification was an air filter, a steel headered DG exhaust and chrome silencer. Has an oversized off red gas tank, O’Neal racing bars, 909 grips, Thor crossbar pad, 22' inch XC holeshots on silver 9 inch stock 88 rims, a Boyesen rad valve, and black shockwears. The bike had the original Ohtsu front tires on gold rims. The A-arms are gold with a lot of scratches in them. The bike had the stock white plastic, stock red frame and original red paint with very little wear. The stock cut off switch was really faded. No case saver; stock bumper but no metal mesh on it. The front shocks are blue under the shockwears and are very worn out. There is a 1 inch diameter hole in the seat cover. The seat is stock and very hard. The hubs are stock and gold. All of the rotors are stock. When you pull up on the choke it barely goes up and doesn't stay very well. Between the reed cage and the carburetor is a rubber piece that connects the two that is blue and has two clamps on it. The radiator shrouds are stock black ones with Boyesen stickers on the outside of each one. The exhaust has no stickers or identification of being DG. No loose bearings or broken seals. When you leave the gas on for a while, some gas shows up on the case and leaks from the carb somewhere. On the case right below the carb, there are paint chips missing and bare metal is exposed. The parking brake is removed and has a JL block off in its place and that is polished. The clutch perch is black and the lever is chrome; the lever has a lot of play to it.
